रामायण के संपुट चौपाई | Siddh Ramayan Samput for Ramcharitmanas Path

It is believed that the Ramcharitmanas Path (रामचरितमानस पाठ/रामायण पाठ) has the power to grant you any wish. To achieve your desired wish, you need to use the samput of certain verses taken from Ramcharitmanas itself. These samput dohes (verses) are Ramayan dohe (रामायण दोहे) taken from Shri Ramcharitmanas only.  These verses have acquired the power of mantras with Lord Shiva’s blessings and are also termed as Ramayan Samput Mantras (रामायण के संपुट चौपाई).

‘Akhand’ (Unbroken) path of Ramcharitmanas is a very popular practice among the Northern parts of India. It is said that whenever the Akhand path of Ramcharitmanas is done Hanumanji sits there  throughout the path.

What is Ramayan Samput

Samput Kya Hota Hai : Samputs are two liners from the Racmharitmanas itself. Samputs (संपुट) are chanted after every paragraph of Ramcharitanas, usually each paragraph consists of a combination of Doha (दोहा) & chaupais (चौपाई). Chapuais are four-line verses &  dohas are two-line verses.  A Ramayana Samput is a couplet (doha), which when repeatedly chanted after every paragraph of Ramayan are capable to grant your wish. Ramcharitmanas dohe are believed to work as siddha mantras when they are used as samputs (रामायण के संपुट चौपाई/रामायण सम्पुट चौपाई) in ‘Ramcharitmanas Akhand path’-unbroken recitation of Ramcharitmanas.

रामायण के संपुट चौपाई : Ramayana Samput with Meaning

We have different kinds of Samputs for granting various wishes. We are explaining below the various samputs used during Ramcharitmanas paath:

रामायण के सम्पुट मंत्र: Ramayan ke Samput Dohe

1. विपत्ति-नाश के लिये संपुट : To get rid of Troubles

‘राजिव नयन धरें धनु सायक। भगत बिपति भंजन सुखदायक॥’

Rajiv nayan dharein dhany sayak । Bhagat Vipati Bhanjan Sukhdayak॥

Rājiva nayana dharēṁ dhanu sāyaka। bhagata bipati bhaṁjana sukhadāyaka॥

Meaning: The one with Lotus like eyes(Lord Ram) has Bow and arrow. He destroys the troubles of his devotees and gives them happiness

2. संकट-नाश के लिये संपुट : To get rid of Dangers

1.जौं प्रभु दीन दयालु कहावा। आरति हरन बेद जसु गावा॥
2.जपहिं नामु जन आरत भारी। मिटहिं कुसंकट होहिं सुखारी॥
3.दीन दयाल बिरिदु संभारी। हरहु नाथ मम संकट भारी॥

1. Jo Prabhu deen dayalu kahava। Arati haran Ved jasu gawa॥
2. Japahin Naamu jan arat bhari। Mitahi Kusankat Hohin Sukhari॥
3. Deen dayal biradu sambhari। Harahu naath mam sankat bhari॥

1. jauṁ prabhu dīna dayālu kahāvā। ārati harana bēda jasu gāvā॥
2. japahiṁ nāmu jana ārata bhārī। miṭahiṁ kusaṁkaṭa hōhiṁ sukhārī॥
3. dīna dayāla biridu saṁbhārī। harahu nātha mama saṁkaṭa bhārī॥

Meaning:

1. Lord if you are called The protector of weak, you take away all pains as Vedas say it.
2. We are chanting your name as we are under pain now. May all our dangers get destroyed and we become happy.
3. Lord you are Protector of weak and destroy the great obstacles. Please take away the great danger which has befallen on me.

These samputs destroys the imminent danger on the devotee and protects him from all misfortunes.

3. कठिन क्लेश नाश के लिये : To get rid of difficult hardships

‘हरन कठिन कलि कलुष कलेसू। महामोह निसि दलन दिनेसू॥’

Haran Kathin Kali Kalush Kaleshu। Mahamoh Nishi Dalan Dinesu॥

harana kaṭhina kali kaluṣa kalēsū। mahāmōha nisi dalana dinēsū॥

Meaning: (Dear Prabhu Shri Ram) Please remove this hardship arisen out of sins of Kaliyuga like you destroy the great illusion of great ego & attachment & like a Sun destroys night.

4. विघ्न शांति के लिये :To get rid of obstacles

‘सकल विघ्न व्यापहिं नहिं तेही। राम सुकृपाँ बिलोकहिं जेही॥’

SakalVighna vyapahi nahi tehi। Ram Sukripa bilokahin jehi॥

 sakala vighna vyāpahiṁ nahiṁ tēhī। rāma sukr̥pām̐ bilōkahiṁ jēhī॥

Meaning: All kinds of obstacles cannot not take place wherever Shri Ram’s benevolence is present.

5. चिन्ता की समाप्ति के लिये संपुट : To eradicate all worries

‘जय रघुवंश बनज बन भानू। गहन दनुज कुल दहन कृशानू॥‘

Jai Raghuvansh Banaj ban bhanu। Gahan Danuj Kul Dahan Krishanu॥

 jaya raghuvaṁśa banaja bana bhānū। gahana danuja kula dahana kr̥śānū॥

Meaning: Victory to the Sun of the Solar Dynasty (Ikshvaku Dynasty in which Shri Ram was born). He is like a wildfire to destroy the numerous dynasties of Demons.

6. विविध रोगों तथा उपद्रवों की शान्ति के लिये :To calm down various diseases and disturbances

‘दैहिक दैविक भौतिक तापा।राम राज काहूहिं नहि ब्यापा॥’

Dahik Davik Bahutik Tapa। Ram Raj mah kahu nahi vyapa॥

 daihika daivika bhautika tāpā।rāma rāja kāhūhiṁ nahi byāpā॥

Meaning: Sorrows arisen out of bodily discomfort , sorrows dues to divine intervention, and sorrows related to materialistic pursuit; all of these problems did not exist anywhere in Kingdom of Ram.

7. मस्तिष्क की पीड़ा दूर करने के लिये :To get rid of Headache

‘हनूमान अंगद रन गाजे। हाँक सुनत रजनीचर भाजे॥’

Hanuman Angad ran gaaje। Hank sunak rajanichar bhage॥

 hanūmāna aṁgada rana gājē। hām̐ka sunata rajanīcara bhājē॥

Meaning: Hanuman and Angad entered the battlefield . Demons fled upon hearing the warnings from them.

8. अकाल मृत्यु निवारण के लिये : To get protection from Untimely death

‘नाम पाहरु दिवस निसि ध्यान तुम्हार कपाट।
लोचन निज पद जंत्रित जाहिं प्रान केहि बाट॥’

Nam Paharu Divas Nisi Dhyan Tumhar kapat।
Lochan nij pad jantrit jahin pran kehin baat॥

 nāma pāharu divasa nisi dhyāna tumhāra kapāṭa।
lōcana nija pada jaṁtrita jāhiṁ prāna kēhi bāṭa॥

Meaning: I take your name during daytime and I meditate on you in between my forehead at night. I have your feet imagined in my eyes; how will the ‘Pranas’ (Lifeforce) will leave the body.

9. सभी तरह की आपत्ति के विनाश के लिये / भूत भगाने के लिये : To destroy all kinds of sorrows/ to get rid of ghosts

‘प्रनवउँ पवन कुमार,खल बन पावक ग्यान घन।
जासु ह्रदयँ आगार, बसहिं राम सर चाप धर॥’

Pranavau Pavan kumar, khal ban pavak gyan ghan।
Jasu hriday agar, basahi Ram sar chap dhar॥

pranavaum̐ pavana kumāra,khala bana pāvaka gyāna ghana।
jāsu hradayam̐ āgāra, basahiṁ rāma sara cāpa dhara॥

Meaning: I salute to Pavan Kumar(Hanuman) who is like wildfire to forest of bad forces and he knowledge is vast. In his heart , there is Lord Rama with bow and arrow in his hands.

10. खोयी हुई वस्तु पुनः प्राप्त करने के लिए : To get back the lost article

‘गई बहोर गरीब नेवाजू। सरल सबल साहिब रघुराजू॥’

Gai bahor Garib nevaju । Saral sabal sahib Raghuraju

gaī bahōra garība nēvājū। sarala sabala sāhiba raghurājū॥

Meaning: I have lost my things , o helper of the weak. You are powerful Raghuraj and its all easy for you.Please bring my stolen thing back gain o God.

11. जीविका प्राप्ति केलिये- नौकरी पाने के लिए रामायण की चौपाई: To get a job/ livelihood/ earning/ establish business

‘बिस्व भरण पोषन कर जोई। ताकर नाम भरत जस होई॥’

Vishva Bharan poshan kar joi। Takar nam Bharat jas hoi॥

 bisva bharaṇa pōṣana kara jōī। tākara nāma bharata jasa hōī॥

Meaning: He who can feed and take care of the entire world, his name will be as famous as Bharat ( younger brother of Ram).

12. दरिद्रता मिटाने के लिये- गरीबी हटाने का उपाय : To get rid of poverty

‘अतिथि पूज्य प्रियतम पुरारि के। कामद धन दारिद दवारि के॥’

Atithi poojya priyatam Purari ke। Kamad dhan Darid dvari ke॥

 atithi pūjya priyatama purāri kē। kāmada dhana dārida davāri kē॥

Meaning: ( The narration of Shri Ram’s acts) Shri Ram is beloved guest of respcted Shivaji(Purari-enemy of Pur demon) . He is the dense rainy clouds to extinguish the fire of poverty.

13. लक्ष्मी प्राप्ति के लिए रामायण की चौपाई- धन प्राप्ति की चौपाई: To get wealth

‘जिमि सरिता सागर महुँ जाही। जद्यपि ताहि कामना नाहीं॥
तिमि सुख संपति बिनहिं बोलाएँ। धरमसील पहिं जाहिं सुभाएँ॥’

Jimi Sarita Sagar Mahu jahi। Jadapi tahi kamana nahi॥
Timi Sukh Sampati Binahi bolaein। Dharamshil pahi jahi subhaein॥

 jimi saritā sāgara mahum̐ jāhī। jadyapi tāhi kāmanā nāhīṁ॥
timi sukha saṁpati binahiṁ bōlāēm̐। dharamasīla pahiṁ jāhiṁ subhāēm̐॥

Meaning: As the river goes and merges into the sea. although it may not have wished for it. Similarly the wealth and pleasure goes to to the person , even uninvited, who follows the dharma(righteousness, compassion and religious).

14. पुत्र प्राप्ति के लिये संपुट : Ramayana Samput to beget a Son

‘प्रेम मगन कौसल्या निसिदिन जात न जान।
सुत सनेह बस माता बालचरित कर गान॥’

Prem Magan Kaushlya nisidin jat na jan। Sut saneh bas balcharit kar gan॥

 prēma magana kausalyā nisidina jāta na jāna।
suta sanēha basa mātā bālacarita kara gāna॥

Meaning: Kaushlya( Shri Ram’s mother) in deeply in love with her new born son and does not realize how many days have passed. Out of her deep affection to her son she keeps on singing and extolling the adorable sweet acts of baby Rama.

15. सम्पत्ति की प्राप्ति के लिये : To amass property/wealth

‘जे सकाम नर सुनहि जे गावहि।सुख संपत्ति नाना विधि पावहि॥’

Je sakamnar sunahi je gavahi। Sukh Sampatti nan vidhi pavahi॥

jē sakāma nara sunahi jē gāvahi।sukha saṁpatti nānā vidhi pāvahi॥

Meaning: The willing person who listens and who sings this they get various kinds of pleasure and wealth.

16. ऋद्धि-सिद्धि प्राप्त करने के लिये : To attain Siddhis and Riddhis-Divine prowess of various kinds

‘साधक नाम जपहिं लय लाएँ। होहिं सिद्ध अनिमादिक पाएँ॥’

Sadhak nam japahi lay layein। Hohin siddh Animadik paien॥

 sādhaka nāma japahiṁ laya lāēm̐। hōhiṁ siddha animādika pāēm̐॥

Meaning: ‘Sadhak’ (The one who undertakes rigorous austerities to attain some kind of siddhi). who take the name of Lord(Shri Ram) with full concentration , he becomes ‘Siddha’ (attains mystical prowess) and gets siddhis of Anima and others( There are total 8 siddhis alongwith Anima)

17. सर्व-सुख-प्राप्ति के लिये : To get all kinds of happiness & pleasures

‘सुनहिं बिमुक्त बिरत अरु बिषई। लहहिं भगति गति संपति नई॥’

Sunahi vimukta virat aru vishayi। Lahahi bhagati gati sampati nai॥

                      sunahiṁ bimukta birata aru biṣaī। lahahiṁ bhagati gati saṁpati naī॥

Meaning: The people who are ‘Vimukta’ (‘Vimukta/bimukta,- who have attained liberation in lifetime only), ‘Virakt’ ( Virakt/Birat-who is not attached to anything) and ‘Vishyai’ (Vishayi/bishai- Who is after materialistic pursuits only);  all three(vimukta,virakt,vishayi)  if they listen to Ramcharitmanas get the Bhakti (supreme devotion to GOD), Liberation from the cycle of birth and death and worldly wealth and pleasure in the order we mentioned formerly.

18. मनोरथ-सिद्धि के लिये (मनोकामना पूर्ति चौपाई): To get the desired wish

‘भव भेषज रघुनाथ जसु सुनहिं जे नर अरु नारि।
तिन्ह कर सकल मनोरथ सिद्ध करहिं त्रिसिरारि॥’

Bhav bheshaj Raghunath jasu sunahi je nar aru nari।
Tinh kar sakal manorath siddh karahin Trishirari॥

 bhava bhēṣaja raghunātha jasu sunahiṁ jē nara aru nāri।
tinha kara sakala manōratha siddha karahiṁ trisirāri॥

Meaning: Shri Ram’s glory is the acute antidote for the diesease of cycle rebirth and death , whoever listens to his glory , his all desires are fulfilled by Shri Ram (Trishirari-Enemy of Trishira)

19. मुकदमा जीतने के लिए चौपाई : Samput to win court case

‘पवन तनय बल पवन समाना। बुधि बिबेक बिग्यान निधाना॥’

Pavan Tanay Bal pavan saman। Budhi vivek vigyan nidhana॥

 Pavana tanaya bala pavana samānā। budhi bibēka bigyāna nidhānā॥

Meaning: ( O Hanuman you are ) son of wind god( Pavan) and your force is just like him. You have Intelligence, wisdom and are epitome of knowledge.

20. शत्रु को मित्र बनाने के लिये : To turn your enemy into your friend

‘गरल सुधा रिपु करहिं मिताई। गोपद सिंधु अनल सितलाई॥’

Garal Sudha ripu karai mitai। Gopad Indu anal shitalai॥

                       garala sudhā ripu karahiṁ mitāī। gōpada siṁdhu anala sitalāī॥

Meaning: Whoever is blessed by Ram , for him poison turns into nectar and enemies turn into friends. For him even entire ocean will fit into a dug of cow’s hoof and fire will also become cold for him.

21. शत्रुतानाश के लिये संपुट : To obliterate enmity

‘बयरु न कर काहू सन कोई। राम प्रताप विषमता खोई॥’

Bayar na kar kahu san koi। Ram Pratap vishamata khoi॥

                      bayaru na kara kāhū sana kōī। rāma pratāpa viṣamatā khōī॥

Meaning: No one can be enemy of a person who is blessed by Lord Rama. All enmity and difference towards him are lost due to Lord Ram’s grace.

22. वार्तालाप में सफ़लता के लिये: To get success in debate

‘तेहि अवसर सुनि सिव धनु भंगा। आयउ भृगुकुल कमल पतंगा॥’

Tehi avasar suni Shiv dhanu bhanga। Ayau Bhrigukul kamal patanga॥

                       tēhi avasara suni siva dhanu bhaṁgā। āyau bhr̥gukula kamala pataṁgā॥

Meaning: (This is taken from the time when Ramji broke Lord Shiva’s bow at King Janak’ assembly and Lord Parashurama came to avenge this.) Hearing upon the loud noise of Shiva’s bow breaking, came the bee of lotus of lineage of Bhrigu , which is Lord Parashuram.

23. विवाह के लिये : Ramayana Samput For marriage

‘तब जनक पाइ वशिष्ठ आयसु ब्याह साजि सँवारि कै।
मांडवी श्रुतकीरति उरमिला, कुँअरि लई हँकारि कै॥’

Tab Janak pai Vashishth ayasu byah saaji savari ke।
Mandavi Shrutkirti Urmila, kuanri lai hakari ke॥

taba janaka pāi vaśiṣṭha āyasu byāha sāji sam̐vāri kai।
māṁḍavī śrutakīrati uramilā, kum̐ari laī ham̐kāri kai॥

Meaning: Then King Janak got the permission from Guru Vashishth for a grand wedding of Sita to Ram and then he also brought Mandavi, Shrutkiri and Urmila to be married to Bharat, Shatrughn and Lakshmana respectively.

24. शिक्षा-परीक्षा में पास होने के लिए चौपाई (सफलता के लिए चौपाई) : For success in examination

‘जेहि पर कृपा करहिं जनु जानी। कबि उर अजिर नचावहिं बानी॥
मोरि सुधारिहि सो सब भाँती। जासु कृपा नहिं कृपाँ अघाती॥’

Jehi par kripa karahi janu jani। kabi ur ajir nachavahi baani॥
Mori sudharihi so sab bhati। jasu kripa nahi kripa aghati॥

           jēhi para kr̥pā karahiṁ janu jānī। kabi ura ajira nacāvahiṁ bānī॥
mōri sudhārihi sō saba bhām̐tī। jāsu kr̥pā nahiṁ kr̥pām̐ aghātī॥

Meaning: If Shri Ramji wants to grace someone , he instills knowledge goddess(Saraswati) in his heart. He has rectified my many mistakes in every way and even the ‘Grace’ itself is wants his grace always.

25. विद्या प्राप्ति के लिये संपुट : Ramayan Samput to get knowledge

‘गुरु गृहँ गए पढ़न रघुराई। अलप काल विद्या सब आई॥’

Gur grih gaye padhan Raghurai। Alap kal sab vidya aai॥

                        guru gr̥ham̐ gaē paḍhana raghurāī। alapa kāla vidyā saba āī॥

Meaning: When Ramji went to his Guru’s house for study , he learnt all streams of knowledge in very short duration.

26. ज्ञान-प्राप्ति के लिये : To get divine wisdom

‘छिति जल पावक गगन समीरा। पंच रचित अति अधम सरीरा॥‘

Kshiti jal pavak gagan sameera। Panch rachit yah adham sharira॥

                       chiti jala pāvaka gagana samīrā। paṁca racita ati adhama sarīrā॥

Meaning: This body is is made of five elements Earth , Water, Fire, Sky and air. This is ultimately going to dissolve into these elements only.

27. श्री हनुमान जी को प्रसन्न करने के लिये : To placate Shri Hanumanji

‘सुमिरि पवनसुत पावन नामू। अपनें बस करि राखे रामू॥’

( Sumiri pavansut pavan namu। Apne bas kari rakhe Ramu॥)

                  sumiri pavanasuta pāvana nāmū। apanēṁ basa kari rākhē rāmū॥

Meaning: Shri Hanumanji has got the approval of Shri Ram by remembering the his holy name always.

28. मोक्ष-प्राप्ति के लिये संपुट : Samput for Moksha

‘सत्यसंध छाँड़े सर लच्छा। काल सर्प जनु चले सपच्छा॥’

Satyasandh chhade sar laksha। Kal sarp janu chale sapakhsa॥

               satyasaṁdha chām̐ḍaē sara lacchā। kāla sarpa janu calē sapacchā॥

Meaning: This verse is of the time when Kumbhkarn along with the the Ravan’s army was killing , monkey army mercilessly and vanar army was scared. At that very moment Lord Shri Ram came into battlefield and launched hundreds of thousands of arrows which moved towards enemies like a definite death.

29. श्री सीताराम के दर्शन के लिये :To see the Shri Ram and Mata Sita

‘नील सरोरुह नील मनि नील नीलधर श्याम ।
लाजहि तन सोभा निरखि कोटि कोटि सत काम ॥’

Neel saroruh neel mani neel neeldhar shyam। Lajahi tan shobha nirakhi koti koti sat kam॥

  nīla sarōruha nīla mani nīla nīladhara śyāma ।
lājahi tana sōbhā nirakhi kōṭi kōṭi sata kāma ॥

Meaning: Shri Ramji’s looks is like blue Lotus he adorn blue Mani with blue hue. He and Mata Sita are so beautiful that millions and millions of kamdev (Supposed to be most beautiful God) will be shamed of his beauty if he just looks at Shri Ram and mata Sita.

30. सहज स्वरुप दर्शन के लिये : To get the vision of the Real form of God

‘भगत बछल प्रभु कृपा निधाना। बिस्वबास प्रगटे भगवाना॥‘

Bhagat bachhal Prabhu kripa nidhana। Biswas pragate Bhgawana॥

                bhagata bachala prabhu kr̥pā nidhānā। bisvabāsa pragaṭē bhagavānā॥

Meaning: God has childlike love for his devotees and he is ocean of mercy. If the faith is real , God will appear in front of devotee.

रामायण की सर्वश्रेष्ठ चौपाई : रामायण का सबसे बड़ा मंत्र

नीचे दिया दोहे को यदि रामायण की सर्वश्रेष्ठ चौपाई या सर्वश्रेष्ठ मन्त्र कहे तो अतिशयोक्ति न होगी। यद्यपि दोहे में दो पंक्तियाँ होती है और चौपाई में चार छोटे पंक्तियाँ होते हैं। तथापि रामायण की हर दोहा, चौपाई एक मन्त्र है और सबमें यह सर्वश्रेष्ठ फलदाता है। रामायण के इस सबसे बडे मंत्र का बखान श्री गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी ने कितनी खूबसूरती से किया है:-

” राम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे ।
सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने ॥”

Ram Ram Rameti Rame Rame Manorame।
Sahasra Na Tattulya Ramnam Varanane॥

rāma rāma rāmēti ramē rāmē manōramē ।
sahasranāma tattulyaṁ rāmanāma varānanē ॥

Meaning: Shivaji said to Parvati ji “Saying Ram Ram , like this, Mind is immersed(Rame) in this beautiful name. Rather than saying thousand names of God(Vishnu) , one single Ram name chant is equal to that o beautiful faced ( Parvati).

इस मंत्र को ह्रदय में रखने के बाद संसार की सभी अमूल्य निधियां मनुष्य की दासी बन जायेंगी,और उसे किसी प्रकार का डर, भय, गरीबी, अपमान, आदि किसी भी बात को सहन नही करना पडेगा.
If you keep this mantra in your heart, All great treasures of the world will be your slave and that person will not have any kind of fear , poverty, disgrace or any pain .
