सनकादिक ऋषि -एक संक्षिप्त परिचय

भगवान् के २४ अवतार हैं , उनमें पहला अवतार सनक -सनन्दन – सनातन – सनत्कुमार हैं।इनको सम्मिलित रूप से सनकादिक ऋषि (Sankadik Rishi )कहते हैं। वे चार हैं , लेकिन उनके एक विचार , एक आचरण व एक साधना है तथा एक-दूसरे के साथ अपनत्व है। उन्होंने मानव जाति को शिक्षा देने के लिये बद्रिकाश्रम – हिमालय में तप किया। सुनी हुई बातों की अपेक्षा देखी हुई बातें अधिक याद रहती है , बोलने और चर्चा करने की अपेक्षा चरित्र में चरितार्थ करना ही सर्वश्रेष्ठ शिक्षा का मार्ग है – यह इन महापुरुषों के आचरण से सीखा जा सकता है।

सनत्कुमार आदि चारों ऋषि-बालक नित्य हरि-शरणम् का जप करते हैं , आपस में सत्संग करते हैं , उनमें वैराग्य है , उन्हें किसी बाह्य-वस्तु की आवश्यकता नहीं है। वे आपस में संघर्ष भी नहीं करते हैं , वे केवल हरि चर्चा करते हुए मानव जाति का हित सोचते हैं, वे छोटे-बड़े का भेद नही करते।

भगवान् के इस अवतार का संदेश यह है कि समूह में, परिवार में एकमत से रहना चाहिये। समूह या परिवार में समन्वय और सामंजस्य ही बुद्धि की परिपक्वता है। इसी से हमारे परिवार में शांति – एकता -भाईचारा संभव है तथा तभी सह-अस्तित्व स्थायी हो सकता है। इस शिक्षा के प्रसारार्थ भी निराकार परमात्मा साकार होने पर सनकादिक रूप में अनेक हो जाते हैं ।

Sankadik Rishi-An Introduction in English

Lord took 24 incarnations for the welfare of mankind; the first incarnations were of 4 quadruplet sages together from the mind of Lord Brahma ji. Their names are Sanak-Sanandan-Sanatan-Sanatkumar. They are called Sankadik Rishi collectively. They are four, but they have same thought, same conduct and same spiritual practices and same affinity with each other. They did penance and meditated in Badrikashram of Himalayas in order to teach right path to mankind.

Things which are seen are remembered better than what is heard, following this motto, the best path of education is to practice in character rather than just to speak and discuss – This can be learned from the conduct of these great sages.

The four sages always retain the look of 5 years old children and chant the name mantra ‘Hari-Sharanam’ regularly to remain under the aegis of Lod Shri Hari. They perform the great act of ‘satsang’-companionship of sages among themselves. They have complete detachment from worldly objects, they do not need any external object. They do not any kind of friction of thoughts or acts among themselves. They only think about the welfare of mankind while discussing the glory of Shri Hari. They also do not discriminate between small and big.

The message of this incarnation of God is that one should live harmoniously in the group, as in the family. Coordination and harmony in the group or family is the symbol of maturity of the intellect. This is harmony only due to which peace, unity, brotherhood is possible in our family and thus then only co-existence can be long lasting. For the sake of welfare of his creation only the incorporeal God assumes multiple forms like Sankadik Rishis.
